The best of Zurich – city tour
Discover this unique city, winner of the award "city of best quality of life"! You see the shopping area and business centre on Bahnhofstrasse, the Limmatquai with its medieval old town and view to the Lindenhof, where the brave women of Zurich once saved the city from the invaders, the largest church clock-face of Europe on St. Peter, the guild houses and the lake. The tour continues to the "Zurichberg" district with its superb mansions of glorious past times, the university and finally the Grossmünster, one of the most magnificent constructions in town, with the high romanesque cloister. Walk through Zurich’s old town
Everyone will find that a guided walk through the old town is a worth-while trip full of discoveries. Come face to face with Zurich's past through a selection of buildings, history and anecdotes. Zurich and surroundings - city tour
Combine culture with nature with cable car and ferry. We show you the main sights of Zurich: the old town, the biggest church clock-face of Europe on St. Peter's tower, the world-famous Bahnhofstrasse, the Limmatquai and the guild houses. Picture stop at the harbour where you enjoy incredible views of Lake Zurich, the city and surrounding hills. Continue to the Grossmünster one of the most magnificent constructions of Zurich with the high romanesque cloister. The city tour includes a short walk through die old town. Lucerne - The MUST for every Visitor
A visit to this lovely old town should not be missed. Coach ride over the Albis Pass and along the shores of the Lake Lucerne to Lucerne with its many attractions. Short city tour with main sights: Lion Monument, Chapel Bridge, town-hall, Jesuit Church, concert and congress hall. Then you have six hours on your own to discover and enjoy this unique place. We suggest a ride on the new city train; a Swiss lunch with Folklore show; a visit to the Transport Museum, the most eminent museum for transport and communication in Europe; the Picasso Museum or simply enjoy a romantic boat trip on Lake Lucerne (all optional). Titlis - Eternal snow at 10 000 ft (over 3’000 metres)
Coach journey via Albis Pass and along the shores of Lake Lucerne to Lucerne. Short city tour with main sights and visit of the Lion Monument. You have approx. one hour at leisure. We continue to Engelberg, where the breath-taking journey upwards begins, surrounded by high alpine glaciers. Spectacular sight of the glacier's deep crevasses and gigantic ice boulders from the revolving cable car. At the top, magnificent views of the Alps await you. Stanserhorn - With vintage cable car
Enjoy stunning landscapes on a coach journey to Lucerne. Short city tour with main sights and visit of the Lion Monument. You have one hour at leisure. Coach journey to Stans, where you take a 1893 vintage oldtimer train to Kälti and then to the peak (6300 ft/1900 m) by cable car. Gaze the view of alpine peaks and lakes, admire the flower reserve and the marmots in their parkland. Visit the first revolving restaurant of Central Switzerland. You return to Zurich by coach. Appenzellerland – incl. visit of a chocolate factory
We take you to a region where the old traditions are still alive. Coach journey to the chocolate factory MAESTRANI, where you will be introduced to the art of chocolate making including tasting! Continue to Schwägalp. Hundreds of cows spend the summer on this Alpine pasture. Listen to the cow bells and observe the traditional way of cheese making, including tasting. Continuation through the lovely hills and mountains of the Appenzellerland. Stop in the charming small town of Appenzell with beautiful painted house, where you have time at leisure. Culinary boat cruise
What about dinner on the lake? Spend a marvellous evening on Lake Zurich and indulge yourself the legendary fish “Knusperli” (Egli fish) or the grilled chicken in a basket. While cruising along the shores of Lake Zurich you will be able to see how the colours of the lake are changing and the golden light of the sunset slowly creates a unique ambiance. Feel Switzerland –Swiss dinner at a farm
A bus takes you up to the restaurant Chäsalp, where Alphorn blowers are expecting you with original Swiss sound. This exceptional restaurant is very cosy and located in the former stable of the farm “Old Tobelhof” which has been carefully renovated with great enthusiasm and decorated with a wide range of historical details of earlier times. You can expect a charming and modern restaurant, still with many details and decorations which are originally Swiss. A delicious buffet with typical food from various Swiss regions is waiting for you, for example the most famous “Raclette”, “Rösti” and much more. Post convention tour – Jungfraujoch (3-day excursion)
A coach will bring you to Grindelwald, one of the most beautiful parts of Switzerland. After check-in an excellent dinner will be served right at the hotel. The highlight of the three day excursion will be the next day. You will travel up to the Jungfraujoch, with amazing 3’454 meters the highest altitude railway station of Europe. The impressive journey up to Mount Jungfraujoch is unforgettable. The trip takes you through marvellous Alps and lastly through mount Eiger which is very unique. Jungfraujoch, also called Top of Europe, with all its amazing attractions gives a 100% guarantee of snow & ice! The Sphinx observation hall and terrace and the glistening Ice Palace will impress you.
