Creation of a Postscript file from your application
To create a Postscript File from your application, install the VPP-Printerdriver on Windows Vista/XP as follows (requires Administrator rights):
- Run the Program vppdrvs.exe. On the Unsigned driver warning press Continue. This is not a problem, because only the printer description files (.PPD) are installed. The Postscript driver programcode is part of Windows.
- Install a New Printer (Start->Settings->Printers->Add Printer). Select Local Printer. Select FILE: for Printer Port. Under Manufacturer, select VPP, and VPPDRIVER under Printers.
When selecting this Printer in your application, it generates a Postscript file on your harddisk which you can send with the form Print a Postscript File.
